What is the price? Also ,is there anything that has to be modified to put it on and approximate install time.If I can get an extra 5 to 8 hp in under an hours work under 100 bucks then Im in.
LAPD sure is quick to post the price but sure gets awfully quiet when asked to explain what it is and what it does. Also, i still can't find it on their site?
Sorry, I couldn't post up here until now. We have been very busy so I was unable to get questions answered.
The Vararam throttle body spacer is a hard rubberized/foam piece that installs between the throttle body and the intake manifold. It smooths/straightens the air coming in after the throttle body so that the air is "charged" right when it enters the intake manifold. It is easy to install and really works. We dyno tested and SOTP tested it and it really works. We picked up good numbers during the dyno testing and you can really tell that you picked up some torque.
The spacer hasn't been added to our website as of yet. We only got a few in so far from Vararam. They are sending us more and when we get enough to fulfill the demand, we will add it to our website. This is a very new product just released from Vararam so please be patient while we add it within the next two weeks.
Yes, we have installed the spacer with aftermarket intakes on the C6. They work just fine together with no fitment issues.
Here is a dyno sheet of a C6. The first run had K&N panel filters and Magnaflow mufflers. The second run had K&N panel filters, KOOKS 1 3/4" long tube headers and Magnaflow mufflers. The third run had the same above listed mods with the addition of the Vararam C6 throttle body spacer.
It really does work!
