Default LS7 Intake

This may be too soon to ask this question, but does any one know whether the LS7 square runner intake will fit the LS2?

It will not. The ports don't match up with the LS2 heads. In case you're thinking of swapping the LS7 heads too, their combustion chamber diameter doesn't match up with the cylinder bore of the LS2. This can cause hotspots which would lead to detonation.

If this is the case, is it unlikely or likely that the front bumper of the Z06 could be used on a standard model and additionally provide a better platform for an induction system?

One has nothing to do with the other. The tiny "scoop" in the Z06 fascia isn't connected to the air cleaner. The front fascia probably won't fit a standard car anyway, the Z06 fenders are wider.

Exclusivity, differentiation (notice how every side/almost every panel of the Z06 has some cue that separates it from the standard C6) and I'm sure it provides at least some cooler air into the nose/intake area.

So you can see the Z06-ed-ness of the car in your rear view mirror before you get into trouble calling him out.
