Default DIC Vehicle Personalization Question

After 2 visits to have the fuel sensor card replaced and another to have the steering wheel rotation sensors replaced to fix the Service Active Handling System random message I was experiencing, I'm hoping some kind soul can help me avoid another few days without my 05 C6. After the last dealer visit, when I get into the C6, the auto seat and steering wheel functions don't work. The Auto Memory Recall and Auto Exit Recall were programmed into the DIC and worked well for 9 months before the service . When I get in now, the seats and wheel stay put. I press Options and the No Options Available message appears. If I press the Vehicle Personalization Memory button on the driver's door, the seats and wheel move to the right position. If I then press the Options button, the DIC recognizes me as Driver 1 and gives me full access to the Options Menu. A minor inconvenience but it should work! Any help would be much appreciated. I reprogrammed every thing according to the owners manual several times.

According to the owner's manual, page 3-58, when you get the OPTIONS NOT AVAILABLE message, it's telling you that you're not using either fob 1 or fob 2.

OPTIONS UNAVAILABLE: This message is displayed
for a few seconds if a keyless access transmitter
that is not labelled 1 or 2 is used and you try to
personalize the features on your vehicle by pressing the
OPTION button. The personalization system will not
recognize the transmitter and the DIC will not display the
current driver number or the menus used to set
personalizations. The personalization features will then
be set to the default states. See DIC Vehicle
Personalization on page 3-67 for more information.

Get it back to where it recognizes fob 1 like you explained and carefully reprogram your driving & exit positions. You didn't say much about what happened after you did that; you just said you reprogrammed everything several times. Do you have an auto tranny or manual? Don't know why it wouldn't hold the programming once it recognizes fob 1 or fob 2.

Thanks! It's always what you least expect--I bought extra Fobs during my last visit, and despite fairly clear instructions, they apparently mislabled my primary Fob. Otherwise, they have been excellent. I very much appreciate your help. Kindest regards
