Default Which intake system?

The C6 has DynaTech headers and Corsa sports, which intake system will add to the set-up?

Thanks.

Sounds like your approaching things backwards! If your talking about a cold air intake, I'd look at the "Honker" from Callaway. No inflated HP claims, just solid engineering and a great product. Go to their website WWW.Callaway.com and give Mike a call...he's the man. Good luck!

I have posted before but I will post it again. I have LG's on the way and the Halltech and a bunch of smaller mods on the way. I have emailed with Horsepower sales about doing the install and they would like to do there own tune which I will probably do instead of the mail order thing. If I can get them to give me a deal on the dyno and the install of the other intakes I will buy a Linger, calloway and anyone else to have all dyno'ed and see which preformed the best. No he said she said straight facts. Everyone then can debate the findings and bottom feeder to non bottom feeder etc. because I understand all sides of the debate but straight out difference between them all. I can say I don't want a bottom feeder regardless of hp but I will test it. I will sell the other intakes in the F/S section for those that want one. My money unless the intake makers want to pony them up for try dyno results apples to apples with one tune. Why would I do this because we all want to know what the dyno says not opinions and seat in the pants feel.

I vote for the Lingenfelter. I have the Dynatech Supermaxx, catback and the Lingenfelter and gained 13RWHP and lots of SOTP throttle response feel when I installed the Lingenfelter CAI.

I made the change from halltech with CAI to the L.P.E. unit...My car has dyantech headers and borla stingers with ls2 edit as well...
My #'s are as follows

Halltech w/cai 375.5hp and 358.4tq
L.P.E. 380.1hp and 369.7tq

As I stated before, it was NOT the Peak numbers that impressed me...
What impressed me was a gain of 14 to 16rwhp and 14 to 16rwtq through out the entire midrange!!! This was why i made the choice to change....Jim and Halltech make a great product and have stand up service. However L.P.E. and 21st Century Muscle Cars have stand up service as well and their product made more power for me on the same dyno same day...

Default LPE intake

I did the same thing.... changed from Halltech to LPE CAI.
HP/TQ difference was about 8HP and 10ft/lbs AT THE WHEEL. Did the 5 pulls with Halltech and 7 pulls with LPE unit. All with the same mods listed below:

LG LT w/ cats
160 thermostat
Fidanza Alum Flywheel

I really like both cold air intakes from Halltech and LPE, however LPE CAI gave me more 'SOTP feel'. Could it be the flatter torque band??

MrBig has the highest hp Stock C6 reported on the other forum. Your car is like his. I would recommend the LPE CAI for the best performance

I personally think that all of us vendors should stay out of this one thread, and let members discuss it between themselves for a change.

If anyone wants my opinion, feel free to PM me and I will gladly give it to you, but let's give the members the courtesy of having one discussion where we don't try to sway them. There is plenty of info available, and plenty of members that have each of the major intakes installed.

I won't post on this thread again, as long as no other vendor jumps in and starts pushing theirs.

Thanks guys,
Ed

Thanks so far to everyone who has posted. My intention was not to start a vendor one-ups-manship thread. All I am trying to find out from those who have done this upgrade is what they think of the product they are using.
