Ok, I've searched the forums, the faq and looked through alot of the supporting vendors web sites. There seems to be very little information about installing race seats. I'm looking for information right now... what seats will work in a C6 Corvette, or what to do about the fact the stock seats have airbags in them. Hardbar (forum vendor) had some information, but I'm leaning towards a roll bar and they only seem to offer one choice of seat and belt set. Any ideas or good links?
most racing seats should fit
you can use your stock seat rails and you will be able to have the power front to back slide still
check this website out it is sparco they have some cool seats if you like them i can give you the number of my dealer.. a good guy and will take good care of you http://www.sparcousa.com/seats_street.asp
you will have to "trick" air bags
do a google for airbag simulators they are made to test air bag systems but you can also leave them in and your system will think the bags are hooked up

The Sparco bottom mount seats have the same mounting points to be attached to the existing seat rails? I need to try removing my seat and verifying it right away. Would love to try a Roadster 2 model. I used to have a Recaro SRD in my Honda and that held me great. Would a Recaro bottom mount also fit the stock rail mounting points?
