I have had mine for quite some time and they are well worth the money. I use them all the time. You do have to watch out with some of the part numbers they list. They are not 100% accurate.

I really like that they include troubleshooting methods for many procedures. There's so much info in them, definately worth the money.

BTW, did anyone notice that while most of the drawings of the whole car are of a C5, in the brakes section there's drawings of a C6 Z06?

Absolutely .....my first purchase from my E-Type Jag in 1970 to my C6 in 2005 has always been the factory manual. A wealth of information & "how to's" even for those who don't consider themselves a "wrench-head".

The Helm manuals give correct info at your fingertips, unlike some of the people that post here. There are a lot of well intentioned post ****** giving wrong info and some not so well intentioned sarcastic posters giving false specs and advice. Probably should mention the Vendors sales pitches too, remember they are selling a product for a profit.

Be carefull of the source of info on the Forum!

That's true, but I found lots of errors in the factory shop manual (3 volume set) for my C5. Wrong specs for lug nut torque (owner's manual in car was correct), wrong info about trans cooler, wrong info about magnasteer being adjustable, etc.

The factory manuals are the best single source of infromation, but far from perfect.

And while I'm ranting, why do they charge over twice as much to get the manual on a disc? That should be a little cheaper.
