Most dealers won't give you any problems because they themselves are installing things like the CAI, Cat back exhausts. Usually, you can find a dealer that won't give you any issues. I had my oil consumption problem taken care of on my ZO6 even though I had already done a Cam and bolt ons.

Default How about Headers and Tune?

I want to put headers and have the computer tuned. I'm concerned that if I break something the dealer will claim the headers voided the warrenty for the drive train because it is making more power. Also the Cats would be different. Then if they hook up to the computer and see that the TM is dialed out and the A/F ratio changed??

Anyone have any comments about that?

recieving my car back from dealer tommorrow, fuel pump went bad, I told them i had performance stuff on vette and ls2 edit, they fixed it. as long as the motor does not have a problem, you are usually fine with gm fixin it,but remember, if you mod internal parts of engine, you are taking a chance

They have to prove that "your mod" is responsible for damage to the warranty parts. There was a federal ruling on that several years ago. So go ahead, but keep track of everything you've done, and how it affects the warranty parts, so you can CYA.
