It is normal to occur under some conditions. Like in 1st gear in a parking lot if you are off the throttle or on the brakes, the wheels are driving the engine. Then you push the clutch pedal and suddenly relieve the drivetrain from any stress.
It's quiet so I only hear it if I'm barely moving. But on my RX7 it can be pretty loud
