Yellow engine light
Last night after I started the engine the yelloe engine (outine) light came on. I shut the engine down after quickly looking at all the gauges which were ok. The opened the hood all was ok I focused on the crank pulley but it looked ok. I re started the car drove it home and half way home the light went out. Any Ideas other than a computer fault and what causes the light to come on? THX

Loose gas cap maybe?
Although mine actually said "check gas cap" when it was loose.
I would think check engine light most likely points to an emissions problem such as oxygen sensor, etc.
Maybe your dealer can retrieve a history of codes and go from there.
