Shifting Question
I wanted to know if you A4 guys can help me out with something even you MN6 guys can help me too. I wanted to know whens the best time to shift from 2nd to 3rd in the A4 by that I mean what RPM or MPH. I'm asking this because the shifting from 2 to 3 is really delayed. I hope you guys can help me out on this.

yes you can do manual shifts in an automatic, I just don't recommend making it a habit. Instead, I would have the computer reprogrammed for the shift points you are looking for.

Let the computer do the shifting. Its smarter than we are for an automatic. If you want better shifting look into shift kits (if any are out there yet), and a tune. Other than that, I highly don't recommend shifting an auto manually.
