HAHA...finally a good tech post and no responses....should have asked about air cleaners to get 3500 responses.
Where are all the tuners in the know?
Anyway..adjustable shocks, no front sway bar, loose rear spring for the squat down, ET streets, and weight reduction in the front (skinnies, drag battery that weighs 12 lbs-or relocate it to the rear).
Lose the torque management with the tune, and stickier tires should help a lot... I am having a problem with traction myself, I think I will be getting slicks and gears before next season...

Z06's have a bigger traction problem, it needs weight in the rear, even the 10 pound battery does not help......
I Think This Site Is Great, But Find It Humorous Alot Of Times With Everyones Neeed For More Hp, For The Reason That If You Can't Do The Number It Really Does'nt Matter At The Track!!!!!!!!!!!
and some people find it humorous that you only care about straight line 1/4 mile times, when you bought a car built to handle turns and put a smile on your face on the street... Who's really confused?
Do you really think a C6 with compromised tires and rear suspension is better than a stock one?

If your going to put slicks, upgrade the rear or you will be towing it home. I would take the weight penalty for a steel rear that won't crack. Especially if you turn off TM and increase power with slicks. These cars are not meant to be 1/4
Any suspension upgrade info to run in DOT class would be helpful for the IRS.

The best thing I did for traction was a four wheel alignment using the Z51 spec's I got off the forum. I had a real problem with fish tailing at every 90 degree corner and the alignment cured the problem. Another thing to do is check all the sway bar nuts and bolts you will find that they are only hand tight at best. My lower control arm bolt, that also is the bottom sway bar bushing mount was just hand tight, and if I remember right it was supposed to be 70 ft pounds.
