Supercharged 3.2 liter V6, 349HP,332lbft torque, auto trans.....will run close with a C6. 0-60 about 4.7 seconds.
I've got a C43 (4.3 liter V8, 302HP, 300lbft torque, auto trans) which preceeded the C32. New in 1999 was 0-60 in around 5.5

I had a C32 about a year ago. As noted above, it has been replaced by the C55. The stock C32 is rated at 349 bhp, but as it is supercharged, it can be modded for significantly more power via a pulley kit.
The C6 should be much faster, as it has more power and is lighter. The torque on the C32, while reasonably wide band, isn't available everywhere as on the C6, and the intercooler design on all the supercharged M-B's leaves something to be desired. The AMGs are fun cars but they don't necessarily have all the sports car features (e.g., no limited slip differential).

The V8 in the C43 seems more "torquey" to me....
I like the W202 C43 as it's more "Mercedes" like then the newer W203's
To me, more substantial, better looking interior, and much deeper exhaust note !!!

I have a C32 and it has been a great fun car to drive. It is a sleeper and then all of a sudden it will get 3 digit speeds just like the vette.
The interior is very nice, much better than the C43 that I sold to buy the C32. I think of the C32 as a four-door M3. It is a great car, but no way is it comparable to a corvette. It is a four-door sedan.

Another vehicle with that same powertrain and weight is the Chrysler Crossfire SRT6. I drove one of those before buying the Vette. 0-60 on the Xfire is 4.8 and 1/4 around 13.2-13.4 at 104-105. You need to give the MB AMG cars the respect they deserve or they will burn you. An E55 Amg beat my Z06 a couple of times at Gainesville. Oh well at least I had the comfort of knowing his car cost double what the Z06 cost and he only beat me by 2 tenths.
