Check out owner's manual. I would place the jackstands at the recommended jacking points shown in the manual. Anybody else with a suggestion? HTH.

The jacking locations on the C6 are designed to support the weight of the car. Recently while I had mine up on stands to have the calipers powder coated, I placed the floor jack under the differental to provide additional support.

For simplicity, I would jack it under the frame, then put wooden blocks under the subframes, front and rear. The car is designed to be supported by the subframes when on the tires, so this is the way to keep the car supported as designed.

cut a 6x6 into 12" length, and put two of them on each end. The wood also is soft, and won't scratch the aluminum
