Take notice that the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's sold on Tire Rack seem to be different than the tires Ferrari in puttng on the F430. The Tires sold on Tire Rack are not Run Flat's (EMT).
I don't know if they're available to buy but, they are standard equipment on the Ferrari F430 which has the same rear tire size as the C6.
Sorry to disagree, but a Ferrari F430 lives about 50 feet away from my assigned spot in the parking garage and I took a look at the tires today. Same Goodyear F1 Supercar runflats that came with my C5 Z-51. you're right about the rear tire size, though. Identical.
I have a couple of comments. First, I had a set of the Continentals on a G35 sedan I had a couple of years ago. I loved the tires, but they didn't wear worth a damn. I got 20,000 miles on them. And they were not driven hard. Mostly Houston freeway miles driven to work and back.
Second - be cautious of comparing OEM tires to a tire that is called the same designation as aftermarket tires. Most OEM tires have unique compounds developed for that specific car. I can't say that all tires are this way, but I can say for sure that some are.
Just because the Ferrari uses PS2's as OEM tires does not mean they are the same at the aftermarket PS2's. This is not likley the best example, because the PS2's are great tires. But you should be aware of this before make generalizations.
