Default Pushing/Steering the C6 when off?

Is it possible to be able to have steering capability when the engine is off? I've looked in the manual and searched the forums and it looks like that's not possible.

Basically, I'd like to be able to push around and steer the car without turning the car on at the dragstrip. Thanks,

Joe

okay, you know how cars have a ACC then you turn the key again & it starts,

Well all you gotta do is hold the ACC for like 5 or 10 seconds & you'll get full power without starting the car, like turning the key to the first click.

hope this helps.

I tried this, and the steering column is no longer "locked." However, it was still resisting being steered, so I didn't turn it much harder in fear that something might break. I'm assuming this is because I have no power steering, but just wanted to make sure before I try turning it harder. Thanks,

Joe

should be fine to turn..... at the track turning it while pushing the car will be easier because the tires will be moving

just open the door and push against the pillar and steer with your right hand should work

Cool, I'll have to try this. I have just been pointing my car in the right direction and pushing until I was almost out of the lane before giving up and starting the car.

Our track goes in lane shifts though, so you'll move 5 car lengths pretty quick and then you can shut off your car while the other lanes get their turn.
