Default Header Install

Installed headers on a 06 Z06 today , 6.5 hrs with a lift No major problems just time consuming .Stock manifold will not come out without removing the cats. Motor ground wire on pass. side has to be moved to stud on bottom mount of oil tank for clearence of back header tube. torque tube cover has to be removed to cut hole so rear 02 sensor wires can be run away from exhaust , headers must come from bottom , Drivers side rear bolt can be reached from top if you reach thru brake booster vac. hose and booster. One other tip remove plugs take all manifold bolts so the manifolds can be positioned so the cat bolts can be reached . Oil has to be drained as dry sump hose has to be removed during install

Long tube L.G. Motorsport with high flow cats , Going to dyno sometime next week .This is not my car it belongs to a club member I have the old style of the 427 B/B 69 a world of difference . I believe he is looking for alittle over 500hp at the rear wheels and torque about the same.
