I'm sure NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems) likes seeing their company name in the title of the thread but TNT probably doesn't like you using another company's name to try to push TNT's N2O system.
NOS is a COMPANY that makes N2O systems for cars and bikes, not a substitute word for Nitrous Oxide or Nitrous or N2O.

yet ask amost any one and they will say man that car has nos
or a dry nos 5177 is pretty good too safer than a wet kit
actually 3 5177 kits would be pretty sweet with 2 polished 15lb bottles in the trunk(my winter project!)
Def gonna be sweet lookin so post pictures.
I like the idea of a dry system too since I use a small shot but my injectors are near maxed out and relying on them for fuel at this point is dangerous. I like the idea of the fuel pump being the limit since the fuel pressure cut-off MAY catch it if it fails.
I f you max out injectors the pressure is still there.
Why would a dry kit be safer? I am under the impression that the wet kits are the safest and that is why they exist because you never go lean. With a dry kit, aren't you for sure going to be lean without a tune? Someone enlighten me please.

Since the F&F and F&F2, NOS has become a generic word, check out any PS2/Xbox driving game!

WIth a dry kit, the MAF detects the additional effective airflow, and the PCM automatically provides the extra fuel. With a wet kit, the extra fuel is being provided by a separate circuit and plumbing, and is basically controlled by the way the system is set up. If both fuel systems are being driven by a single fuel pump, it's possible to exceed the flow capacity of the fuel pump, thus causing a lean condition.
Looks like a compact installation .aslo done very neatly........Curious as to any 1/4 mile times.also otheer mods???....and most of all the limiting factor for us C6 owners.TIRES.....i'll keep looking for a new psot.....GOOD LUCK
Well, Its Winter Here in Northern Virgina so no Track Time any time soon. The Install in almost complete and hope to dyno it and run it this spring at the track. Last time at the track this Stock A4 Z51 with a Hoonker ran 12.6 with 111Mph trap speed.
The Tires are a problem. The 12.6 I was able to get a 1.91 60FT time. With the Dif issues Im not sure if I would shoot for anything lower. It was better to run in Compeiteve mode rather then totally disabling the TC. With No TC there was too much HP and TQ for those tires. I Rosted then down the track.
We have the TNT LS2 nitrous system in stock. It's a pretty nice setup that they did some home work on to make sure it would work well with the LS2. I'm kicking around installing it on my GTO
