Default C6 Autocrossers Post

Don't see many C6s at the SCCA autocross here in Houston. If you autocross your C6 tell us how you are doing - vitals and mods please.

I switched from a mildly prepared BSP C4 LT1 MN6 to a bone stock C6 MN6 Z51 on Nitto sticky tires and aggressive alignment. I am beating my old C4 times.

Just curious, are you running 18's all around or do they make the Nitto's in 19 sizes? I have run my MN6 Z51 w/ LT long tubes on a 1.7 mile road course track with 10 corners on the stock tires with 12,000 miles and was impressed with the grip. I can only imagine how much more fun it would be with sticky tires.

18s all around. 275 35s in front, 305 35s in back on Fikse wheels. I don't think the mfrs will ever make a non C6 z06 size 19 inch tire, just like there was never a non-C5 Z06 R tire.

Is the SCCA still racing at the Houston Police Academy track?

Another question, what did you do to resolve the tire pressure monitoring system issue with the sensing of a flat tire? Do you have monitors on both sets or run the same set of tires all the time with the monitors?

No sensors...no problems. I was worried about this, but I have a Jan 05 build date. Apparently, the earlier runs don't have the sensor problem. Glad I got mine when I did.
