I was in the process of installing my Vararam. I was cutting the fan shroud while laying in the engine compartment. I was cleaning up the cuts with a knife when I slipped forward & the nife sliced through the coil. I guess this would be for the air conditioning system? I can hear the air pressure coming out.
I messed up bad.....how do I remove the fan shroud? Can I remove this item & have it repaired?
Take it to an A/C shop. The coil can be repaired or replaced if it is not to much money. The system then need's to be evacuated and recharged. You can do it you self if you have a vacuum pump and then add the correct amount of 134. Good luck.
