MN6 rattling handbrake lever button
I've got this REALLY annoying rattle coming from my handbrake button as I cruise at highway speeds. Anyone have and fixed this before I tear apart the mechanism to solve it myself?

now this is some funny stuff cause i have almost ripped my plastic peice out i pulled on it so hard it does not rattle anymore not to say it wont start again but man is it annnnnnoyinggood luck

I'm going to try a few tricks, maybe a small rubber band around the push-in. <shrug> As we still need to use the damn thing a lot, whatever fix I come up with will be marketed as the NEXT BIG CORVETTE FARKLE!

It can get pretty annoying on these Texas chip and seal roads...
I didn't drive my car for a few weeks after they resurfaced the roads in my area. My truck now has a stone chip and my C6 has 3 small divets in the windshield as well from that crap. It brings out all the rattles and squeaks in the car. Sorry, no solution to the problem.
