HELP with GREEN ignition switch full time
I have never had BBS and my C6 is now in a paint shop with the entire front end removed and the ignition switch is GREEN all the time without the key fob being anywhere near the car. The normal reverse shut down sequence is no help and the shop has killed the battery many times over then they just charge it back up with the GREEN ignition swicth light on all day. I am going to buy a new Optima Red top right after I pick the car up Friday BUT any idea's if this condition does not fix itself once all the open connectors from the fenders and grill etc: are reinstalled?? The car starts and runs but on shut down the top GREEN light stays illuminated.

I'm guessing here, but if they've disconnected cables then the various modules (ECM / BCM / door module, etc.) may not be able to talk to each other and so they can't shut down.
They should have disconnected the battery before pulling all this stuff apart.

I was thinking the same thing..... why are they working on the car with the battery hooked up in the first place? EASY way to damage sensors, computers, etc. Not to mention setting off the airbags.
