I held them up on mine and thought it made it look too much like a truck.
The stainless sill covers really distract from the appearance.

I bought a set. I tried to get them to fit. Couldn't do it.

Took it to the dealer. He tried to get them to fit and stay on. Couldn't do it.

Service manager said he has tried a few sets on different cars, and that they always pull off.

IMHO, save your money.

I have the brushed aluminum from MidAmerica and they fit and look great. I am not sure if these are the ones you are referring to but I love mine.

Just installed a pair of these sills today. They do attract much more attention to the sill area, but I think they look better than stock. Seem to stick fine as well. As long as you take the time to align them, application is a breeze. The hardest (i.e. longest) part, by far, is removing the stock sills and getting rid of adhesive residue.

Mine would not stick on the doors either, what a piece of junk they are.

I was referring to the Inner sill covers that cover the plastic molding that everyone insists on dragging their feet over! I believe they looked worse then the scratched plastic. Too massive!
And the stainless door guards detract from the appearance in my opinion.

Door guards are crap. The OEM electrical tape sills are crap.

Leave the door alone (just watch your feet) but do get the brushed aluminum sill. Peel off the OEM "FAST", clean small amount of residual glue w/Goo Gone. Installing new ones takes minutes, you'll be happy.

If you decide to go without the door protectors, just try to park somewhere that you can open the door all the way out and get some Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Those things are in the grocery store laundry detergent aisle and they are great.
