I have the Corsa's. Contact America car craft.com. They have a SS piece that fits over the tips. Price is about , I forget, go to their site, for all the info. If you buy , call them and speak to Lisa, she will give you free shipping. Save about $16.00. It goes on easy and hides the mufflers and look great!
Try scuffing with steel wool or sandpaper then wiping with acetone or lacquer thinner. S/S is a problem to paint, some paints won't adhere without a special primer.

I have the exact same system, I just used a metal polish (Mothers) and wiped them off with that. I use a flat black hi-temp paint and have not had a single problem with it. As far as I am concerned, it makes a MAJOR difference in the look of the car by hiding those hugh shiny cans...
