My CD changer has been working fine, but recently I has some charging problems, took care of all and replaced the battery. Now my changer will not work when I hit the "aux" button. It has power and I ejected the magazine and looked for any problems. My question is; is there something I have to re-synch after a power failure to get the radio to recognize the changer?

Nope, but I found you may have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to work. I'm sure your's is screwed in. I've had two non-working ones, but the last to work but sounds like it's chewing pop-rocks loading/unloading CDs. I found disconnecting/reconnecting solved my problems in between times.
