Header?

Header?
I used to have a C5 with Supermaxx headers on it + Corsa Indy's. I always could smell a gas smell after the header install that was done by RevXtreme. I took the car to Mike in orlando for my maggie install and he couldn't find any leaks.
I am ordering a new C6 that will be built 1/30 and have been considering getting LG's installed, but i do not want to wreak of gas everytime i drive if that is the norm. Can anyone with headers please respond. I am planning on putting the new corsas on that come out in 2 months. thanks!

they had to modify the design for 06, due to transmission shifts with the A6 causing resonance. Sometime in march they will release ones for 06+ that have a slightly different bend. There are numerous threads on this.

That really sounds more like a tuning issue if it was that bad. I haven't noticed a difference in gas smell after installing SuperMaXX headers on mine.
Just asked my wife if she had noticed anything and she gave the same answer. Believe me if their was a difference she would have let me know. She doesn't quite understand the "mod bug".
