Default Mag ride control improvements?

I have an '03 AE C5 with mag selective ride control and am curious if any changes (improvements) have been made on the C6? I remember reading somewhere that they were going to make a more noticeable difference between sport and tour modes. Does anbody know if the system is the same or have they actually changed the programming?

I don't know, and have never driven a C5 with it. But I can tell you that on my '05 I can tell a very noticable difference between the two modes in how it rides. I had a Z51 C6 for 7 months, and have now had my F55 for 7 months. While I liked the Z51, and consider myself more of a Z51 type person, I have really come to like the F55 suspension a lot.

It could be the power of suggestion, but, I read where as the car gets some miles put on it, the difference between tour and sport will become more noticeable. I have 2000 miles on my car now, and when rolling down the freeway in sport mode and the surface gets bumpy, I can switch to tour mode and definitely feel the difference.

Now if I can just find an F55 badge.

Since you're here

What can you tell us about any problems with the mag ride in the 3 years it's been out? Have you noticed any difference in the way it feels after 3 years?

I love the MSRC. I think it provides a very smooth ride and nice handling. I haven't had any problems at all with the system. I read a few threads about leaky shocks early on and have kept an eye on mine but they are dry. It would be nice if there was a more noticeable difference between the settings, that is why I was inquiring because I was thinking that the new computers might be backwards compatible with my '03. I have not noticed any difference in the way it feels at all.
