Let me clarify, the 10w3v2 is a crappy sub in that it is overpriced for what you get. The w6v2 and w7 are among the best sounding subs out there. The w6v2 most likely will not fit in the stealthbox for the C6 due to the size of the magnet. That ID v.3 is more musical and hits much harder than the 10w3v2, and its only $98! I like ED ov2 subs as well.
I'm close to putting in a system that included 2 8W3v2's.....so, would that be considered crappy too? Should I be looking for 10W6v2's instead? I was going to use the 8's b/c I wanted to build an enclosure in and around the storage box. The 6v2 series doesn't seem to come in an 8".
Keep in mind, I'm going for deep bass, but I want it tight. No need for ghetto bass, just clean and tight.

I've got a pair of Q-Logic QLT-.6510SS boxes in the trunk area, loaded with Infinity Perfect 10.1D dual voice coil 10" subs (wired parallel for 2 Ohm load), driven by the sub channels of an Infinity Reference 5761 amp. Roof fits in with a little re-arrangment of the boxes. Infinity Perfect 6.1's in the doors (needed to make a "plate" for the woofers) and Infinity Kappa 62.7i's in the rear (a little "trimming" was needed). Driven by a Pioneer AVIC-D1 Nav head unit.
My installer is going to build a pair of boxes around the JL Stealth Box concept, and I'll "off" the Q-Logic boxes to some lucky Redneck with a pickup.

One 10w6v2 or one 8w7 would proably give you more and deeper base than two 8w3v2s. Build the box to the maximum size that JL recommends, and feed the sub plenty of power.
