GPS NAV System DVD Upgrade

My NAV system Denso Corp. DVD in my 05 is part number is 10381886.
Does anyone know if there has there been any upgrades in the GPS NAV System DVD?

You have version 1.0. The new version 2.0 is PN 15779679 available from Fichtner, etc. CF members get a discount.

Also you may want to get the software upgrade(s) for this unit. These add MP3 playback and fix some radio problems. The fix discs can be ordered from the same source, or obtained otherwise. Check the thread(s) over on C6 general.

No good reason - I used to have a cat avatar, but switched to the squirrel in reference to some or the other post about a squirrely car. I think. I probably should change it if I don't remember!
I have a mess of the little furry menaces in my back yard, so I have a number of pictures of them.

Anyone know what the difference is between the two part numbers and why the difference in price?
