Default Battery Storage

I have a Delran Battery Tender that is about ten years old. I'm not sure it is any longer doing the job. I was looking at alternate battery tenders and ones that deal with the AGM and gel batteries. Battery Minder claims that it desulphurs the battery to prolong life and Battery Tender claims it offers a unit that works with the gel batteries. California Duster suggests one that I don't recognize and don't have the catalogue any longer. I need help and suggestions of the one to buy for a C6 and where to buy it CHEAP. Thanx gang. Rad

Walmart carries the Schumacher brand battery maintainer for under $25. They're a well known manufacturer and their product handles the Lead-Acid, AGM, Gel and Deep-Cycle batteries too.

I'm up to using 9 battery minders without any issues. Regular charger caused a sealed battery to leak that then blew up in my pickup. In the Z06 is a minder minder directly wired to the battery. New models come with a fuse in the circuit. Easy to install/use. Documentation says use the minder if you are not going to use the cars for 4 or more days.
