Before install car dynoed 410RWHP/384RWTQ, after install and retune,
427RWHP/405RWTQ. That's with stock heads. Andy mods the rear of the intake, and cuts some of the firewall, and re-glasses it. Intake doesen't hit car runs strong. 28-30MPG @ 70mph.

When we did mine, we only saw 11rwhp however it was part of getting more air in the engine, with the final plan later to supercharge it... After the s/c was installed it has well paid for itself by rwhp and tq #'s compared to other similar s/c setups with out the fast intake, we saw a much larger increase because of more efficient air flow into the motor... was it worth it before the supercharger you ask??? My answer is YES... I like to get every last bit out of the motor, before I get into the bottom end... As for the L.P.E. kit, it's VERY clean no "glassing" once the install is done, you would think it came that way from B.G....

J.....that snap shot is waaaaayyyy tooooo CooL Bro
The fast was the standard $875 + tax = $942
Installing required, cutting the rear of the intake, re-glassing and sealing the intake, relocating the power brake fitting. Then modifying the fire wall by cutting a section off and re-glassing it. This is the only way that the fast 90 intake will fit a C6. It all adds up guys, and believe me Andy green doesn't over charge you, his prices are fair. Plus it's not a hatchet job it looks factory when he's done. You pay a little extra for quality work at least I do. When you average it out it's always about $100 a HP in the world of the C6. Take it or leave it.

Just to make clear, when Andreas says it is "the only way that the fast 90 intake will fit a C6," then he is referring to the fact that you must cut the firewall not that you must modify the FAST intake manifold. Indeed, you do not have to modify the FAST intake manifold at all if you use the Lingenfelter kit, and I think others might've left the intake alone but cutting even more out of the firewall. It just depends on how you want to skin the cat and how the parts will be changed by the process. And, I agree that it does all add up because it's not a short process.

Curious how you came to the $100=1HP equation. Most mods are alot more productive than that. Hell a good air filter setup will get you 5HP/$100 and that is not the big payoff mods like Nitrous and cam.

Shop around....I got the FAST 90 for 760, saving 100+ and did the install in a few hours for free. No tax on mail order too.
Yeah, shop around. I just knew $1400 was somewhat steep. You could save a few hundreds for labor on this mod. We know labor isn't cheap but it should be reasonable.
That's what makes our kit parts so attractive, for $115.00(for the firwall & MAP relocation kits) you get the parts needed to save several hours of labor, fiberglassing your firwall, and modifying your intake.
