I have my car apart in the garage installing headers. Just wondering if anyone had problems getting the O2 Sensor removed from the stock manifolds. I can't get a wrench around it to remove it. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!!
7/8 inch wrench I believe.
I hope you took the manifold out before you tried to get the sensor off??
It is barely tightened at all, mine were finger tight.
It does not require much force to get them loose. Try pliers if you have to.
Thanks for the replies. After I posted I did a google search for O2 removal and of course several came up. I used a loaner from the local parts store.
It took me about eight hours to finish the install but I made sure nothing was touching the pipes anywhere. Just used hand tools and jack stands in the garage. Sounds good. Not very loud at idle but step on the go pedal and it comes alive. Kooks LTs with catted x-pipe.
