Default Door Unlocking Problems (help)

Took delivery two weeks ago and have had trouble unlocking the car after about the third day. Most times now I am getting into the car by unlocking the trunk manually. Several times while sitting in driver's seat and trying to start the engine, I get the read out "no fob found". After trying a few more times, so far, I've always been able to eventually start it. Since both of my key fobs act the same way, I doubt that both of them would have bad batteries.

Since I live a good distance away from the dealer, I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion before I take the car back. Is there something I'm missing here.

Thanks!

You may have a weak battery. If you have a charger try charging it. If not take it back to the dealer and let them take care of it.

sounds like a battery problem - you might want to get it reconditioned or checked at local pepboys, advanceauto, autozone etc.

If you stick it in the FOB holder in the glove box and it still won't start - then probably low (car) battery

You might want to try to change the battery in your Fob.
