I have them. I don't think there is any SOTP feel, at least not that I noticed. With those and K&N filters I dynoed 346 on a mustang dyno. Some have said these were good numbers on a mustang dyno but I don't know the difference. They do give the car a little different sound in a good way with no drone at all.

Get the matrix ones that come with the LG long tube headers. Go with the complete set up and stick to companies that specialize with one thing. Hope that helps and the random's are good but go with what works.

The random tech cats bolt right in place of the factory. No cutting, no welding. Direct replacement.

Apply the money to some LT headers. Better gains and sound.

I was told by one of the guys at LG that the matrix cats are being used because random tech could'nt keep up with their supply requirements-but the matrix cats make 3HP less.If you hold both of them in your hands and look through them- they look exactly the same to me. the random tech cats are polished and the matrix cats are not[big deal] and the matrix cats were originally intended for another vehicle and have extensions welded to them to make them fit the C6 whereas the RT cats were made specificly for the C6. Even though I dont see much of a difference - and I am therefor not so sure of the 3HP story- I used the RT cats anyway even though they are more expensive-After all nothings too good for my baby!! And if I run over a squirrel he will surely be impressed by my highly polished cats!!
