Its no secret that I am a huge LPE fan, but this has got to look totally awsome in anybody's eyes!! Doesn't look like there is an inch of room left in the engine bay. Interior looks great too. Thanks for the pics.
Who did the work, LPE or 21st Century? I know 21st Century is an authorized dealer, but I thought all the CEs were built at LPE.
I am pretty excited - I have one of these coming my way in about two months or so (#10 of 25). The selling point for me was the whole look/package. Besides being gorgeous/beautiful, getting something that is OEM quality in the install cannot be valued enough. 725 (crank) HP with a two-year warranty, in a 3300 lb car (4.5lb/HP). And the install clearly looks OEM, as one can see in the pictures above. There is only one production car with a lower lb/HP ratio (4lb/HP in the Bugatti), and this honestly looks as nice as any of the exotics. Any.
Obviously, one can get more power than this car through a variety of ways, including simply doing a similar setup and turning up the boost. Or putting on a big shot of N2O. But in my mind, the point of the Comm Ed cars is essentially to turn the C6 into the equivalent of a classy and high-end exotic, with performance that will beat essentially all exotics.
Well, maybe other people see it differently. I think my viewpoint is obvious given I just bought one of these.

21st Century is more than just an "authorized dealer". The owner, John Paige, is the late John Lingenfelters son-in-law. It's more like "LPE South" than just an authorized dealer.

I beleive this car was built in Indiana. I know the owner lives in Dallas. I was out of town when the car came in for delivery but I got lucky this time. The car was being prepped for shipment by 21st Century MuscleCars for the owner
Someone had pictures from the delivery day. The first place the owner drove it was to Cruisers in Frisco and I understand it drew a crowd
I heard rumors that LPE has built one to compete in this year's top speed shootout
Thanks for posting the pics Midnite, the Commemorative cars are very nice
and the lucky few who own them will be very pleased with them I'm sure!
All Commemorative edition cars are built here at the main shop in Decatur, IN. The car Midnite photographed was shipped to a Texas based customer.
One thing to point out is that these cars are on a similar level with some of the high end exotics (Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.) but when you look at the price compared to the power level, the Comm. Ed. Corvette is actually much more bang for the buck!
Weatherguy, you will be very pleased with your car!

Ed, unless I am wrong, I think none of those cars are making 725 HP, and even those that are very high HP do it by winding way up there in RPMs and do not generate 730 ft-lbs. Also, unless I am wrong, I don't think any of those in the same HP league weigh 3300 lbs or less (except maybe one Ferrari??). I do not remember off hand what the McLaren makes or weighs, though I think it is mid-600s HP. Is it more bang for the buck, or just plain more bang period? If someone on here has better info on these numbers, please let me know - maybe there are some currently made supercars that make more power/torque. Of course the Bugatti still has everyone beat, for a measly 1.25 million dollars ...

Of that I am sure. The cars are gorgeous. BTW - Jeff has been incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with by phone and email - it is very nice to see customer service like that.

You're correct, that's exactly my point, the cars I mentioned are all much more expensive, and don't make nearly as much horsepower as the Comm. Ed. car. When you look at it that way, the Comm. Ed. car is quite a bargain!
Don't worry, Jeff is one of our best people, he will take very good care of you throughout the process.

I was there when Andy was finishing up your SC, sweet install. Just checked out the first Maggie install on a Black A4, like mine, and JP said they are getting the Kenne Bell SC in this week.
The options are rolling in...how are you liking that Procharger (it made some nice numbers!)?
