I am hoping some of you members that have installed your own LG LT Headers could help me with a couple of questions.
How many sets of clamps should be included in the LG Pro LT Headers?
There should be to my count 3 sets of 3 in. and 1 set of 2 1/2 in.
My kit seems to be missing 1 of the 3 in. sets.
Should there be 2 bolts included for the mount to the bell housing?
None included, and there was nothing in the holes prior to starting.
Also should the front Oxy sensors extensions be the same length?
1 of mine is 10 in. shorter than the other. And yes they are the ones for the front.
After waiting three weeks to get these and kicking in extra to get them shipped overnight, this is somewhat disappointing.
you are right about the clamps...guess you are missing some. as for the bolts on the bellhousing, none were included with mine either. cant help you with the extensions...i didnt check them before install. call LG, they have good customer service im sure they will make it right. hope that helps some.
is anyone running the corsa sport exh. with the lg lont tube headers with thte cats? I am thinkng about this set up but would like more info....or do people prefer different headers with the corsa sport? hoping to get a power bump plus better sound.
I am running Corsa Sports with 4 tips and the LG 32" long tubes and high flow cats. This setup is definitely louder than the Corsa Sports alone but is not intrusive in the cockpit - or at least it wasn't prior to the LPE 403 engine upgrade. Now it is LOUD at rpms above 2K and really a beast at any rpm above 4K. Of course it also produces over 470 RWHP so I am somewhat able to out run the sound.
ok--so i have an 06 vert 6spd. i had the corsa sport exhaust installed. I am now looking into having an airbox and headers installed (lg lt's)....will this throw codes....whatever that means. Will i need to have the car tuned? cause i can't find a shop in NH or MASS that does this and i don't want to cause myself headaches. Any input is appreciated.

come on dood, you gotta give us more than that! how do they feel/sound? did you get a noticable SOTP gain? where in the range do you feel it the most? did you tune? are you going to? what else do you have? CAI, FAST, catback, C/H?
Hey chopper same problem here. I am driving to NC this friday to get my headers put on. I have had them for over a month in my apartment and it is time I take them to a real state and get them put on. NEW ENGLAND = not for performance vehicles, everyone here is scared to do anything. I will tell you about it or you can come see it I will be back early next week.
I threw a code when I put mine on...but that was becuase I unhooked the temp sensor in the block..e.asy fix, just a lil plug under the alternator near cyc. #1.
I noticed a heck of lot power up top too. Down low was some notice but in all honesty i have gotten enough traction to tell how much faster it is ..

Scared??? Speak for your self. I run no cats on my car.

As far as feel goes I would be hard pressed to say that I can feel a difference. The car was parked for three months before putting them on. My first time driving it in as many months was after putting them on, so yea it feels like a rocket.
The sound is exactly what I was looking for. Normal cruising, not getting on it, most would not know there was a difference. The interior levels seem quite normal, there again I had not driven the car in three months. Get on it and the roar is unmistakable, you can feel the rumble. This rumble has brought to light a couple of small rattles from the console but I believe they won't be hard to eliminate.
This is the only performance mod I have done. Tune and CAI this Spring.
