I installed the 2 piece Eradispeeds after 500 miles on my '06 and like them a lot. The stock pads are incredibly dusty. You will always get a little dusting with any pad, but the HKS pads are about 90 per cent better.
The car stops noticably better with the new brakes. No squeaks at all. The 14 inch rears pull the car down nicely without causing as much nosedive.
I had a problem with the rear Goodridge staniless steel lines not threading in correctly on the car side so re-installed the stock lines. I will still go with stainless hoses when they get the bugs out.
I have not done the Baer break-in procedure. Paint the center of the disks with clear 1200 degree header paint and they won't rust.
Where did you get the HPS pads from? I looked on pfyc and they didnt list pads available for the C6. Unless Im blind....
And they have them front and rear right?
You can use C5 pads.
Front pad sizes
C5 183x60x15mm
C6 182x61x14.7mm
The non-z51 even uses the same brackets as the C5,
For the rears, they are the same brakes as the C5 altogether.
I'll be selling HPS in a week or 2, but can get you ebc greenstuff now. HPS squeak quite a bit, EBCs are low dust and quiet, with improved performance over standard pads.
Interesting enough, in EBC the front C6 pads are $16 less than the C5 pads.
I bought everything from westcoastcorvette.com and had them do the installation too. By purchasing the kit ahead of the install date, I was able to shoot the disks with 1200 degree clear header paint off the car in the places where they always rust. (Just clean with lacquer thinner or brake cleaner first.)
The brakes go on easily with the hardest part being bleeding the brakes - and that's just the regular deal. Many suppliers sell a kit with the calipers, pads, Baer brackets, brake fluid etc. Verify that the stainless flex lines will really fit, though. The flex lines are a bit of a pain due to tight clearances from my Mag Ride sensors. The front flex line brackets have a square hole that had to be made a bit round.
It is handy to do a caliper exchange to minimize your cars downtime.
I also installed the stainless brake pad covers WCC sells.
