Headers + Corsa = no resonance. This is the setup I just installed. The sound from the Corsas wouldn't be my absolute first choice (it sounds a touch tinny) but the cockpit is quiet and as the RPMs rise, the sound gets sweeter.

The resonance ain't from the headers. Went through this on my C5 - Brand B = resonance. Corsa = no resonance. All these posts convince me that 6 years later, Corsa is still the only brand that does not have resonance.

I didn't have resonance with the exhaust alone. When I added the headers, I picked up the resonance. Headers seem to overwhelm all the aftermarket exhaust systems except the Corsas

Sell the car immediately and buy a minivan. Wear your best skirt and maybe you'll get a better trade.

I went with LT's and OEM exhaust on the 05 C6 MN6 and no problem with drone. Definately could hear the motor, sounds sweet. But not so loud at WOT you can't hear anything else.

I had Borla exhaust, and X pipe, installed at the last Corvette Show, in Carlise PA, this summer. I LOVE it, and no problems with drone (at least at idle!) Must be the headers!!!!! I was also reading the warranty, (lifetime) that says there are several ways to quiet the system down, if all you're looking for is the preformance. I like both! Something about 'Venturies', and to ask your retailer. Just a thought!

Default At Idle ?

I have Borla’s with the stock "H" Pipe. I get some mild resonance
@15-1600 RPM in 4th & up on mild acceleration. No resonance @ idle, just a nice little sweeeeet rumble.
