Default Head/Cam/Headers package and emissions

I'm very close to sending my 04 over to Lingenfelter for their 430hp engine package and a set of long tube headers. Where I live emissions testing is required every other year. It is the OBDII test (hope I've got that right) where they plug into the computer to check for emissions codes and a quick visual inspection for cats. Before I commit to this I need to know whether or not what Lingenfelter would do would cause the car to fail. Obviously, once they've done the work, if it won't pass emissions testing, I'd be way up the creek..not being able to get tags for the car. The package includes a mild cam, but I do want to do headers at the same time. Is there anybody out there who could shed some light on whether or not this would be a problem as far as emissions testing goes? Actually, I am concerned about the headers more than the cam as I've read some other posts that indicate something about the loss of O2 sensors with some header installs. The guys over at Lingenfelter don't seem to think that any of these changes would cause problems but I would like some additional points of view before taking the plunge. Thanks

LPE doesn't install headers so no problem there. What 430 hp are you talking about? Their website doesn't list such a beast, starts at 500hp and goes up from there.

Installing a cam shouldn't effect the emission. Installing long tube headers could effect emissions depending on what high flow cats you use and how sensitive your State's emission laws are. You can pass most States emission's test just fine with headers and highflow cats.

You must have looked at C6 packages. There is a C5 package at 430hp. They will also do header installs...ask them. Mistakenly, I posted this on the wrong forum initially, but I appreciate your comments.

REPLY: There is another post in this Room from LGM on a cam/intake/headers/tune package ; LGM said it passed the tailpipe sniffer test . Dont think they mentioned the OBD2 though.

Mostly not a problem on a well tuned car. Some tuners take a short cut and install simulators instead of allowing the rear O2 sensors to do their jobs. If the tune is a little off, LTs (not just LGs) will throw a CEL for the rear O2 sensing a too cold condition. This will cause the PCM to change the mixture and you will lose power.

Again, a well tuned header car will not throw codes.
