When I shift without being on the throttle I notice like a swoosh sound from the cars exahust...like a blow off valve sound.
Could it be from an exhaust leak? ( meek we didnt check for one after we started it)

it could be an exhaust leak- that was part of the reason I was asking whether the engine sounded funny to you guys but somebody said it was normal. i'll take a look at it again when you have a chance. but we need a lift. i wish we had a scanner.
is the sound coming from the rear or from the front near the engine bay? did you guys tighten everything down correctly near the rear of the car?
