Cleaning Air Filter question
I have the Vortex Cold Air intake. I'm going to clean it today and wanted to know if all the Filter Cleaners were the same. Vortex said I could use the K&N filter cleaner, but the auto shop only had the FRAM. Is it the same?

I've never seen a fram gauze filter, so I would say no. However, any degreaser will clean it just fine. Make sure you rinse back through the filter, pushing the dirt back out the way it came in.
