I'm noticing that my A6 has a hesitation at low speeds. The dealer says yes you do, but it not bad enough for GM to pay for a fix. Is any body else having this problem? If yes what can we do about the problem? I understand all the newer 06's don't have this problem as GM has corrected the problem.
I know that there's a bulletin out about a slight hesitation/delay before the trans responds when shifting into drive (mine has a very mild case of this) but I haven't heard too much on a hesitation once in gear and driving.
I posted some notes on this previously. The dealer fix is to re-flash your computer after pulling the radio J fuse out (under the hood on the passenger side). You'll get much more driveability and a less loosey-goosey feel under part throttle/cruising conditions.

I wonder if pulling that radio J fuse and then pulling the PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses (like we do to reset things on the LS1 F-bodies) or even disconnecting the battery for a few hours would accomplish the same thing, saving a trip to the dealer?

I'll bet that over the next few years it will make sense to "reboot" the computer by killing the power, but in this case the dealer downloaded an update to the computer. This reminds me of Microsoft releasing new software and then 3 weeks later they sent out fixes for it...
