It's been a while since my last post but was wondering if I can get my 05 nav system to play mp3. I have read that there is a cd of some sort and was wondering were I could buy one.

yes, this issue has been beaten to death. Its free and and it works - I did it myself.

There's also a thread to a link which contains zip files of the software update. You can burn the CD's and do the install yourself. That's how I did it and now I use nothing but MP3 CD's in my Nav radio.
