Default Headers Problem #2

C6 was in the shop for 3 ½ weeks for headers and 3.9 rear. Got it home today. My passenger side 6 way electric seat (I don’t have the memory),does NOT move at all when I sit in it. I’m not that out of shape, yet! More odd: when I don’t sit it in, it works, a little slow but does, then it doesn’t at all, then it works again. But never when I sit in it. I’m sure the battery was disconnected when they did the headers. Since Candid Camera is no longer on TV, any thoughts on what’s up with the seat, and how to fix it would be much appreciated!

Default Seat

Installing gears and headers has nothing to do with seats as you know. There are 2 electrical connectors under the seat one for the air bags and one for the seat motor/controls. Maybe they are loose. If not there is either a problem in the push button (not likely) or the seat controls themselves (more likely). I bought my car second hand at 6 months old, and the history shows something was done to both seats, but not sure what as the details are not on that history report. I know in the forum I hear alot about the crappy seats in the Vette, leather quailty and so on, so probably an issue for the dealer. I never move my seat from the position it is in and no one else drive the car but me so doubtful it will ever wear out.

Unhook battery and then reconnect. I have a problem with my windows after headers and that corrected it.
