Default DTE HP Differential Identification (photo)

FYI for everyone~
As of today, 3-15-2006, we will now be custom-tagging our purpose built, heavy duty differentials with our own personalized build/name plate for every single differential that is built here. It will include contact/identification information of DTE, as well as the differential part number and specific serial number of the unit permanantly stamped on the build plate. The serial number is also embedded deep within the differential and is tagged to the name of the original purchaser.

We're doing this for two reasons mainly..

One is to put a professional, finishing touch on our high-quality, premium product and the other is to protect our customers (or potential customers) of fraudulent activity of someone else trying to pass off selling another differential online that claims to be ours, when it is in fact not.

Previous differentials built by DTE will have the original Getrag tag on it, but it's modified with the correct part number idenfication. Additionally, there are still internal serial number identifications placed within the unit also.

The implementation of this new specific company name tag and extensive serial numbered identification is just another example of our dedication and commitment to providing you with a very high quality product that consistantly sets us apart from the rest.

Happy motoring!

Best Regards,
DTE
