Just spent over an hour shopping Forum Vendors. It's kind of aggravating that anybody that lists a thermostat doesn't give a true picture and doesn't mention a manufacturer.
Prices from $17.99 to $29.99! As poorly organised and worded as some of these sites are they might even be the same product.
I'll have to check some local speed shops tomorrow, may even be the same price with sales tax instead of shipping.
I just ordered one today off of Ebay. Paid $18.99 plus $5 for shipping. This one is listed as an SLP thermostat for the LS2 (however, I would guess the make is the same as the OEM)
This is just food for thought- A friend of mine that ownes a viper complaines in traffic in the summer time his AC doesn't cool well enought. The dealer says it's normal. He decides to put in 160 thermostat, well the dealer can't find the thermostat housing, and decides it's under the intake manifold. Just to start they quote him over $500.00 for labor. He decides to sweat. I just had to meation he could follow me to the Chevy dealer. He didn't see the humor.
