Default What size hex for the diff drain?
What size and are the diff drain /fill and the MN6 drain / fill all the same.

Don't know about the MN6. On my 05 A4, the diff plug is 10mm. Also the clearance is very tight, had to cut mine down to about an inch long, so check whatever you go with.

It was 10mm for the diff drain/fill for my 2005 mn6.

10mm for all C5's and C6's. Just use a 3/8" drive for the trans (manual) plugs

Yea I think that is what I heard. Ball head allows for a little movement of the hex wrench which helps with it being close quarters up there.

Default 10mm ball end socket
you need the ball end to clear the leaf spring. no other type will work.
