I read in the manual that if you tint the windows it will interfere with the GPS system. Has anyone experienced any problems with the navigation after tiniting the windows?

I bought my truck second hand, and it had tinted windows. I had lots of problems with navigation at night, ie I couldn't see what was behind or beside me, until I had the tint removed.
Metallic tints will attenuate radio signals, ie satellite signals to the GPS antenna, which is in the dash just above the center A/C vents, if the line of sight to the satellite is to the rear or sides of the vehicle, ie through the tint. That can happen when the satellites are low on your horizon. When the line of sight is high above the horizon, or toward the front, tint is a non-issue. If you're concerned, use a ceramic tint.
