MAF and X-pipe questions
Hell I could BE the bandwagon as much as Ive spent on this stuff over the years. But anyway I saw on a few corvette sites aftermarket MAF sensors (one specificly designed for people with CAI) but when I'm looking at the posts from people that have done simmilar things to me to thier C6 I dont see any mention of replacing the MAF, any reason for this??? Which applications would this replacement be suited for?Second, I'm ordering as we speak a few exhaust items. I went with the Corsa touring (guy at the dealership had it and I loved the sound) and LG headers. Is there any HP/TQ benefit to replacing the X-pipe or is it just to eliminate the gurggle sound I see mentioned?
Thanks in advance
No need to replace the MAF on the LS2 unless you're doing pretty wild stuff. "Calibrated" MAF sensors are snake oil in my opinion. Get a real tune so you know where you stand, if you want to get the final 10hp out of your setup.
