intake and brakes

intake and brakes

two questions......

1. i just put in a kn intake. can i remove the screen on the mass air sensor? can i take off the plastic under the intake and the one that covers the radiator?
2. does anyone have sqeaky brakes? i have 6000 miles and they started acting up 1000 miles ago. doesn.t matter when..they squeal when i hit the brakes. driving me crazy

Do you have a Z51? Ceramic pads will eliminate the squeaking, but stopping distance is a tad longer.

Don't have a clue re #1, but go read the C6 FAQ thread on "bedding the brakes," that will take care of your squeeky brakes pronto.

just do a couple hard stops from high speed, it will go away.....and it will come back later also....
