Default C6 Track numbers

Sorry it seems my other post didn't go through. Took my new c6 Z51 M6 to the track friday. I have only had it for one week. Car ran pretty stronn and was very consistant. Conditions here in Louisiana were 80 degrees and humidity was at 70-75%.

1st run-- 2.01 60' 12.86@114.56
2nd run-- 2.00 60' 12.856@114.53
3rd run-- 2.02 60' 12.887@114.56

Kooks 1 7/8 headers just came in on friday along with my vararam. Both will be installed during the week by me. Don't think I will get the car tuned for a while since my tuner at Thunder Racing doesn't have the software yet for the LS2. Its my understanding that the car will probably run rich like this. Is there anyway to lean up the fuel a little without the tune?? MAF ends....Things like that. Let me know what you think about the times and upgrades I am planning. Was hoping for 12.6's, but I think it was just too hot and humid.

What strip in Lousiana do you run on?

Good runs. A better 60' would get you in the 12.6 range. You already have the mph for 12.2's.

Great times for Hot and Humid weather.

Cool those temps down to 40-50 and you would be trapping at least 1-2mph more and running at least 0.1-0.2 better.
Cut a 1.9 60' and there is another 0.1-0.2.

Great job,

Howard

Keep us posted on the headers and CAI from Thunder, I am a fellow Louisiana C6 owner and was considering them doing some mods but were 3 months out on the work.

I am actually installing them myself. I have done several installs before and I am sure I can help you out for a nominal fee.

I appreciate the offer, I would certainly make it worth your while and would enjoy helping too. I will be interested in seeing the performance improvement once you get it done.
